I walk through the tides
Where you once taught me to swim

Where you showed me how to fish
I run to the bridge
Where we looked up at the stars
Daddy, I feel your heart

When the cool wind blows
I can feel that you are near
When the dew falls on the grass
When the flowers start to bloom
I can smell you
Daddy, you are what kept me alive
You are the one who makes me take a step towards life each day
