Making You Sorry

by Hannah   Apr 1, 2005

I want you to be sorry,
Do anything to make you regret,
What you did to me,
Disturb your mind, make you upset

I would hurt myself,
To try to hurt you,
You'd see exactly
What you've driven me to

The blood would show you,
How you tore me apart,
The scars would reflect,
What you've done to my heart

But I haven't been beaten,
I've made it through again,
Because instead of the knife,
I pick up a pen

The shining ink comforts me,
More than the blood ever could,
Because it leaves no guilt,
And no chance to be misunderstood

You're not worth all this pain,
I can't forget how you failed me,
But by getting over this obstacle,
I'm one step closer to being free
