The whole reason we have scars
Is to remind us that the past is real

You treated me like shit

But I kept taking you back
Even though I knew
That you would never change

You hurt me so bad
But that's all going to change

I would never take you back
But I'll admit sometimes I miss you
But I'm happier without you
Because I've found somebody new
This guy is the best
And he treats me so much better
Than you ever did
And I'll love him forever
I thought you were the best thing
That had ever happened to me
Now I know you aren't
And you would never be
I'm sorry to let you go
But it's time I see
That there will never be
