Finding a Home

by Jacklyn   Apr 1, 2005

Walking slowly,
Through flames and ice,
Reaching for a goal,
That’s been stated as fools hope,

Gasping for air,
Gasping for life,
Trapped in Hell,
With no life in his eyes,

Walking alone,
With no place to go,
Other then his goal,
Which no one thinks he should,

But he won’t listen,
As he struggles along,
No helping hand,
He does it alone,

Everyone’s rejection,
He’s against the crowd,
Will anyone listen,
To his wishes once he reaches goal?

Will he be rejected again?
Or brought in with loving hands?
He just wants forgiveness,
But his sins he can’t stand,

This is his last place of hope,
Of finding a home,
This angel of Hell,
Wants to be an angel of God.
