Lost Girl

by Jacklyn   Apr 1, 2005

Left or right,
Confused mind,
Searching for hope,
Searching for help,

Turned to face corners,
All pure white walls,
Surrounded by nothing,
By no one in the world,

Left alone,
With no direction of home,
Torn heart bleeding cold,
Nothing but a windy soul,

The hurt within the mind,
The rejection and lonesome,
Why can’t they see,
The deep hurt within me?

Do they not know my bleeding heart?
My empty soul within my life?
Do they not know I strive for love?
I want to be thought of at least once.

A lost soul in the pack,
A lost heart in a mine,
Will any one find,
The lost girl in this world.

~i got the idea from a poet name, shes really talented, this is just an idea i didn't write it based on her~

Don't mind at all, I can actually really relate to it, even if that wasn't the intention. Beautiful poem, as always.
