Secrete Pain

by Jacklyn   Apr 1, 2005

Who will decide if she lives or dies?
To lay on a bed for the rest of her life?
A vegetated mind,
At the hospital she lies,
This will be the rest of her life.

Is there any pain?
Can she feel it inside?
Does her heart ache in pain?
Or does it just wither away?
The parents or husband,
Is where her future lies,

Both disagree, but she cannot speak,
Is she in less pain dead?
Or will she come back ever again?
Courts fight and decide,
She will no longer be feed,
No more water, as she starves,

But it’s weight that got her there first?
Unhealthy diets,
But isn’t there a faster way,
If your going to kill her why this way?
Why make her starve, and wait that long?
No one will know if she suffered,
No one will know what she wants,

Is a grave the real answer?
Or to keep her this way?
It’s too late she slipped away,
She’s in God’s hands and care,
I know this for sure,
She’s in less pain and suffer,
Because God’s there to hold her,
God is there for her comfort.

~she has been in the news, and i do not know what i would do if i had to decide something like this. it's really sad, i do not know if you know her story or not.~

Her story was/is deffinatley saddening and i would wish it upon no one. You have written a well detailed - as close as possible depiction of the case :D Very well done. Absolutley wonderful.
