My fault

by *pOiSoNgIrL*   Apr 1, 2005

The voices inside my head are screaming,
If only it weren't true, I could be dreaming,
We're hanging on by a thread it's seeming,
The only thing in my life that has meaning.
I make yet another big mistake,
Wondering how much more you can take,
Our entire relationship is at stake,
So we're taking a one-week break.
There's nothing I can say to justify the things I've done,
So far away from the place that I call home,
The guilt and sorrow have only begun,
If only we could go back to having fun.
I've come close to losing you so many times,
So many night's I've sat up and cried,
Now I spend time wishing I would die,
I feel the pain looking into your eyes.
Everything worked for has come to a halt,
No more forgiveness, I've cleared the vault,
I don't know what to say, lonely and distraught,
We're almost over, and it's all my fault.
