Broken Angel

by Jacklyn   Apr 1, 2005

A broken ring of gold,
Lovely feathers fell to the floor,
Lost of hope,

Views of Hell,
Cuts on her white dress,
Red eyes glaring back,

Her reflection in the mirror,
Is nothing but air,
Invisible to the world,
But shown to the special,

Floods of water,
Flowing down stream,
Calling for God to take this pain,
Ask for forgiveness,
And for him to fix her broken wings,

God sees the struggling,
The angel’s need for him,
He holds the broken angel,
Until her ring of gold shins,
Until her feathers were so beautiful,
He holds the broken angel,
Until she no longer views Hell.
