Finally I Can See You With Me

by Felicia Tursi   Apr 2, 2005

I've known you for a long time,
I've never seen the signs.
Never noticed that I liked you,
Until that day when it became true.
I saw a photo of you and fell in love with your smile,
Figured it'll only be a while.
Until you were home and I could see you,
That once again I could see your view.
You looked different but still the same,
And I don't even know your last name.
But when I saw you smile I knew,
That never again would I feel blue.
Because every time I saw your face,
I floated back to my happy place.
When I got home that day,
My mom was thinking of a way.
To make us a perfect fit,
To fill that tight nit.
And I knew that we should be one,
Everyone agrees that it shall be done.
Then his family can really be my family,
And we wouldn't have to pretend it'd just be.
We could be the patch,
The candle to the match.
I can feel that its supposed to be this way,
If I could only say what I want to say.
Then maybe this would have already begun,
I'm serious I think your the one.
But I shall wait and see what comes of it,
I'm not doing this for any profit.
I want only you,
I hope you do too.
