Why

Why don't you want me
why didn't you see
the good things in your life when you were with me

the fun we had in elementary
why couldn't it go on
you left me at another
you left me alone

but then he came in my life
and lighted up my world
at times i thought of you
but it was all a big blur

I'd have dreams of you
then wake up and cry
then i think of him
and start to wonder why

why did you leave me
standing all alone
did regret it or run to someone

someone that i hated
i couldn't stand to see
the person that ruined my life
and took it away from me

i thought you were the first
and last love that I'd have
but now i see it wasn't meant to be
