I met him

The day I let you go I thought I would never again love
I would just spend the rest of my life alone until god sent him to me from above
the first time I saw him I could hardly keep my eyes to myself
they just kept looking at him it was something I couldn't help

I talked to them for a while before we met
I started falling for him I had to have him my mind was set
I finally broke up with the guy I was with though he was really nice
but if I stuck with him my heart would have to pay the price

well me and him finally got together
all of a sudden I could wait any longer for forever
when we got together all Id want to do is lay right next to him
and listen to him breath and his heart beat again and again

for some reason it was all worth while
and it still is every time he makes me smile
although he's still mine
I'm afraid to lose him at any time
