No Hope

by Some Random Human   Apr 3, 2005

Sitting here in this dark room, cold and all alone,
I sit in the silence, and wait for the unknown,
I know not what will happen, if I live or if I die,
I know this could be the end, so I'll go ahead and say goodbye,
I sit still in fright, I know I have no hope,
I sit here scared to death, and know not how I shall cope,
how I shall cope with what is to come, for I know not if it's good or bad,
I stand up and stare blankly, not happy but not yet sad,
I cast aside my fears, and try to be so brave,
I wipe away my tears, and walk into my own grave,
I lie here in my casket, I never had a prayer,
I lie here in my casket, in the darkness I do stare,
I gasp for my last breath, I know I have no hope,
now I lie here dead, no longer shall I mope...
