Wish on a star

by Katie   Apr 3, 2005

The wind blows and trees crash against the window.
Looking at the midnight sky from down below,
All the stars shine so bright.
Just waiting for the clouds to start another fight.

The clouds shed their tears and they pour down so steady.
It’s not too late to dry them, I hope you’re ready.
The lightning strikes again and a burst of thunder is heard.
A bright burning sun is greatly preferred.

The more it pours, the more it strikes,
The more this dreadful storm is disliked.
The angels start to sing and the clouds stop crying.
Each loud thunder is slowly dying.

The sun starts to shine and the clouds break away.
The angels spread their wings and fly off with nothing more to say.
Wish upon every bright star,
You’re dreams and wishes will come true whether near or far.

The sun starts to set and the night becomes dark.
Another beautiful night you soon can embark.
Take chances and fulfill your dreams.
Cause’ when you do, there’s no more screams.
Its greater than it seems.
