I Hope You're Satisfied

by Carlee Ann   Apr 3, 2005

I keep thinking about it
And the more I think the madder get
I'm just a doormat for you
A pawn in your game, so sick
You tell me to leave
That I'm not helping when I try
But then you scream for me to stay
Am I just wasting my time?
Give me one reason
Why I should stay with you
You had better think of a good one fast
Because I can find a million reasons not to
I don't usually let people push me around
I have sense of pride
But, for some reason, I let you
You were never really on my side
I don't know what it is
But something about you made me feel
As if the world had stopped spinning
Now I don't even know if those feeling were real
I hope your shots at my heart
Have left you satisfied
Because I am done being hurt
Too many tears have I cried
Don't you turn
And point the blame at me
I'm not the user, the one who causes the hurt
Open your eyes - it isn't that hard to see.
