That Glass Heart

by Lushed   Apr 3, 2005

You're seeing through my disguise,
The one I use to hide.
You're looking past my eyes.

My simple girlish heart,
Now lays crushed and broke apart.
It was only made of glass.
How long was it to last?

Such open deceit,
My tears roll down.
Drowning all thats left.
In the bottom the shards may stay.
Shards of that glass heart that I once kept.
