Scars Inside and Out

There's a cut
For every tear
She has ever cried
So many scars
Inside and out
She hides them all
With make up and clothes
Along with her dazzling smile
It easily fools all
For they do not notice
Her dull haunted eyes
That hold so much inside
Or the thousand scars
That mar her inside and out
