For the past 12 months
I’ve been trying my best
To get rid of this pain
And live like all the rest

I’ve tried to fake a smile
To hide how I truly feel
And after all that’s happened
I will never completely heal

I see you every day
But you still have no clue
Just how I feel each day
And how I'm always feeling blue

I just don't want you to see
This messed up side of me
Because even if I told you
You would still disagree

You think that I'm so happy
But the truth is that you’re wrong
You think I can handle anything
But I'm really not that strong

And I'm sorry for letting you down
Because the truth is that I'm trying
But I guess that it’s pointless
Because I only end up crying

So once more ill hide this pain
That I encounter every day
And maybe one day ill tell you
I just hope you won’t turn away…
