Evil Came

I've never been so close to anyone
As i once was to you
But evil came and played its part
It told you things untrue

Evil said that you'd be happy
If you took your life
At first you wouldnt trust him
But he revealed to you his knife

That knife it cut you open
Open like your mind
Your mind that you opened to evil
In evil, its peace you wont find

After you left evil found me
And i fell for it just like you
I was missing you so very much
That evil showed me the knife too

Again and again i slashed away
Feeling better only for a while
But i stopped before it got too late
Evil is not my style

I say it over and over again
That i'll never turn out like you
But deep down i know
That its slowly coming true
