One day

One day I'll cut too far
one day I'll cut too deep
one day is drawing nearer
with every night of sleep

sleep that is tormented
that leaves you weaker than before
the fear of going to my dreams
scares me more and more

Cos in my dreams i cannot block
the guilt, the pain the fears
i wake up screaming at the dawn
i dreamed of blood red tears

so sometime in the evening
only one day more
I'll close the curtains tightly
and barricade the door

say my prayers nicely
and then I'll go to bed
next, using my jagged knife
I'll stain the sheets deep red
