Fitting In

by You already take me there...   Apr 4, 2005

He doesn't fit in.
You call him a freak.
He's a nerd with big glasses.
He's a super-smart geek.

She doesn't fit in,
So you treat her like dirt.
What you failed to notice,
Is your words really hurt.

I don't fit in.
You think I'm a fraud.
I'm a poser because
I think friends can't be bought.

What you don't understand,
Is that you're strange to me.
Because why you act like that,
I just cannot see.

We're just some misfits.
You think we won't win.
But you see being different
Is how we fit in.
