day by day
my best friend has to go away
graduation has come for you
while i have to stay here in high school
off to college you will go
while i remember those days in the snow
late night car rides with the windows down
60 degree weather but that didn't stop us from riding the town

days that were bad
friends that are gone
no longer here

the world is not that bad once you get set free
driving is not the best thing is what you said to me
i just smiled b/c i knew you were wrong
well now i drive and you were right
driving is not the best thing that will ever happen in your life
so go to college remembering me
all the good times that you have to leave
