For every ounce of pain i have endured
for every tear that i have shed
for every time i should have been smiling
and i was always crying instead.
for every poem i have ever written
and every sad word ever spoken
for this heart, this fragile heart
that still remains unbroken.
for all of our tommorows, our yesterdays
for all the times when hurt was all i knew
for everything i have done wrong
and all the things u put me through.
for those endless days and nights
when i was sure i could not go on
for trying so very hard to make right
what was always going to be wrong.
for all the soul aching, the heart breaking
for all of my endless tries
for all my strength and perserverance
despite all of our goodbyes
for everything and for nothing
what i gave and what i got
for this opportunity, this experience
for the important lesson it has taught
for life and most of all, love
i had not the slightest clue
that just when i thought i couldnt do it any longer
