Forget the days without you
Because now your here to stay.
Erase the pain I have been feeling
I shouldn't feel this way.

Say goodbye to the tears
That we brought upon ourselves.
Kiss away the painful memories,
And put them on the shelves.

Clean out our hearts
And turn the bad parts to good.
Stand by my side
Like you always should.

Rest upon your knees,
And gently kiss my hand.
Ask me for a lifetime
To keep you as my man.

Promise me you will never go
Or take my happiness away.
Tell me that you love me so
While it grows stronger everyday.

Wipe the tears from my eyes
And scare away my bad dreams.
Show me how to let go and trust,
Because not everything is what it seems.

Lift me up when I am down
And mend my broken wings.
Shield my soul from all the harm
Caused by awful things.

Run when I ask you to
And rescue me from this place.
Cover my eyes if you need
In case I see his face.
