Understanding's the hard thing
so hard to comprehend
too hard to see all the turns and bends
in the road of life
I just cant see why
we have to go through all this
so much shit
why cant we have the lives
why must we live like this
when we can be happy
not always feeling so crappy
why must stuff ruin the bliss
that could come of this
and totally destroy
a girl and a boy
just trying to stay alive
trying to be in love
like a free dove
this life just seems to push and shove
like a man locked in a stove
burning up, it hurts it burns

that keeps me alive
makes me keep trying to try

do what ever we want to do

we'll see what happens then

and make everything more understanding
