Hurricanes Hit Home

by Nicola   Apr 5, 2005

H-appy that’s what we were
U-ntil the hurricanes caused a blur
R-ipping up the beautiful land
R-uling all who took a stand
I-nnocent people who will die
C-hildren praying while they cry
A-imlessly left to wonder
N-o shelter from the thunder
E-veryone prays to god above
S-ave them lord the ones we love

H-oping he hear’s your prayer
I-n your moment of despair
T-he Lord will soften your sorrow

H-old you up until tomorrow
O-pening the skies above
M-ourning the loss of fallen doves
E-ven our souls will rise above
