My Nightmare

Tonight i had a nightmare
It made me want to cry
I actually visited hell
I keep on asking why

The looks on peoples faces
The looks of hurt and pain
I wanted both to help them
And never see them again

The screams were full of anguish
Their eyes cold with grief
Every second more people entered
Through hell's razor sharp teeth

I tried to wake myself up
But i was paralyzed with fright
Satan and his demons
Were stealing away all my light

When i finally awoke
I cried and cried for hours
I'd seen with human eyes
The worst of the devils powers

That fear would not leave my mind
Of going to hell when i die
Still i ask the same question
'Why did i visit hell, why?'

Maybe i deserved it
Maybe I've done something wrong
Maybe I'm going to end up there
Maybe it wont be long

Either way Ive decided
That the only way i can feel right
Is to end my life on this planet
To grow my wings and take flight
