When I first heard you liked me
I laughed and said "Who's that?"
I learned your name and then became in love with all you are

Your dark brown hair, your dark brown eyes, your cheeky cheeky smile
Is all that I remember when you liked me for that short while

I fell in love with your antics
The way you handled things
When I told you I loved you
You said opposite things

I could not believe it
I cried and cried and cried
I thought I'd found my soul mate
When I was in year 5

We went to year 7
We graduated too
We went to high school
With me STILL loving you

You went out with 3 others
With me always kept to the side
I kept announcing 'I'm over you'
But really not inside

So now in year 10
I still cannot let go
Theres something inside of me
