When I dream, I know

WHEN I DREAM

I think...

If I walked into the sun, the heat would not scortch my flesh. If I walked into the stars, they would not burn my eyes. I could walk into the moon today, but I could breathe.

If I walked into the wind, it would not blow me down. If I jumped into the ocean...Worry not, I can't drown. If I hit the bottom, the animals would not flee, but come to me willingly

...You give me the power...

AND THEN I AWAKE

And I know...

If I walked into the sun, the heat would eat away my flesh. If I walked among the stars, the light would burn my eyes.If I walked into the moon, it would take my breath away.

If I walked into the wind, I could never get back up. If I jumped into the ocean...Worry not, I'm only dying. And when I hit the bottom, the animals will not flee, but devour me willingly.

I'M DYING BECAUSE OF REALITY. AND WHEN I AWAKE, MY REALITY BECOMES MY WORST NIGHTMARE. BECAUSE, THOUGH I TRY TO DENY IT, I KNOW. I KNOW YOU WILL NEVER LOVE ME.
