Look at her part four

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Apr 6, 2005

Look at her
She got her family to notice her
But not the way you would think
Not the way you would hope

She blew up
She blew up in tears
She had so much hate
She had so much pain

Her family looked at her
Then walked away
She watched them leave
She watched them fade away

She sits on her bed
Wondering why this happen to her
Wondering why they left her in her time of need
Wondering why they laughed at her pain

Day by day
She sits staring out her window
She stares into the night
She stares into the woods

She sees her oldest cat
But she hopes for more
She hopes to see her family
She hopes to see them coming for her

Look at her
She’s sitting out her window
She stares out there to see her family coming back
She cries for them

She told them her pain
She told them her feelings
She told them everything hoping they would care
Instead they turned their back on her and laugh

Look at her
She hopes for them
She hopes for the pain to go away
She hopes for a family to love her

But instead of having a family that loves her
She has a family that laughs at her pain
She has a family that can’t see the pain
She has to look at herself and watch the pain grow
