Love's Ending

What a life we would of had If we would of never broke.

What a dream we would of had if we never would of woke.

What a site it would of been to see you close to me.

I wish these things could happen but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I guess we were wrong when we thought we had it all.

And now our lives are parted as i start to slowly fall.

I want to see you happy and I want to see a smile.

I want the sadness gone so peace can stay awhile.

You mean the world to me yet our love is so far fetched.

Its like a thought preserved within a lonely sketch.

My love for you still lingers day and day.

I wish i could change the past so our relationship could stay.

But we know we cannot do that and we have to deal with pain.

We have to face that facts or else we'll go insane.

Cupids arrows have turned into a saddened tear.

We will both miss those days when love was still here.

So as I stand here in the puddle of painful thoughts.

Promise me you'll grow happy because thats the only thing i got.

My only wish is to see you happy and never be hurt again.
