Some thing new but not different,
Is what I seek in life.
Something that will not change me,
But will end my worry and strife;
Someplace I can go to,
Without feeling not at home;
Somewhere far away from this,
Without my having to roam...
Somehow it should come to me,
As if it were a dream.
Someday I shall find it,
Or so I'd have it seem.
I wish for my utopia,
But then what would I gain?
I'd find the snake in Eden,
I'd re release my pain.
And as a human creature,
I'd tire of serenity.
Because that is a drawback,
Of my mortality.
And in my little paradise,
I don't know how I'd live;
To find the one true happiness,
Is futile and exhaustive.
I wish to forget the troubles,
As does ever human being,
But a vacation is only temporary...
Only shortly freeing.
Where do I go to find peace?
Is it in those classic poetic cliches?
Is it in lover's lip locks,
In a summer's day?
No, Even THERE lives worry,
And its sister, stress;
And without these two demons of evil,
The world would seem undressed.
So tell me, tell me, what to do.
Tell me for what to care.
Tell me where and when to go,
And the reason I should be there.
Tell me how I should live,
Or more importantly WHY,
Or if not, then In that case...
Show me how to die.
