A silent deadly weapon
that can kill within a mile

Silent deadly weapon
that takes away a warm smile

This silent deadly weapon
takes away innocence and despair

this silent deadly weapon is killing loved ones and the unaware

This silent deadly weapon is cancer
this silent deadly weapon has no cure
this silent deadly weapon has been around for awhile, for that i am sure

Taking lives of all ages
going through chemo with its different stages

Pain and suffering is all around
This silent deadly weapon doesn't make a sound

this poem is about all the people that have been affected by cancer, whether they had it or knew someone that had it. My grandfather passed away by cancer and has affected my life forever, from what changes have been made since his death in 98.
