I tried to tell you this but no- one would listen
Hearing all those words said to me just gets me down
Then you wonder why I hit back because these people try to keep me down.
You think that I can cope with this pain,
You think that it will all just calm down
But as soon as it does, they just start again and again, taking digs at me, stabbing me harder
twisting it until I finally show the pain.
You won't move me to a better place, so I'll have to do it myself
No more pain, no more hatred, just me on my own, just me rising back.
Rising back to my original self, rising back to happiness.
This is what I wanted, to get away from everything bad.
But you just turned your back and said if I stay I will be glad.
All you care about is the results at the end,
Not my feelings now, you couldn't give a toss.
So now I'm writing you this letter and hopefully now you'll pay attention to the pain that this has caused me.
