Scream

by Amy Woodfine   Apr 7, 2005

You say you love me,
than you scream at me.
You tell me you will do anything for me,
than you hollar how I ruined your life.

How can you love me when you hate me?
You beat me down & down until I can not breathe.

Here's my chance with a blade in my hand.
Write you a note on how I feel.
Saying the things I've wanted to my whole life.
I say my good-byes... short & sweet.

As I cut my flesh my life passes by
What a waste for a life!
Misery and pain for 20 years
Memories haunting me of beating & lectures.

I cut myself deeper and deeper hoping this will all end
The room spinning around faster & faster.
Faces flashing in and out of my life.

Now I lay bleeding on the floor.
My life taken only by my hands
Yet your words did the damage.
