I look at the glamorous stars of today
and wonder, How did it, how did they get this way?
Was it difficult, reaching the top?
Did anyone ever discourage them, tell them to stop?
I want to be one of them, I wanna be a star
Do I have the potential, could I get that far?
I want to sing for the world, sing my heart out
I don't want to take another job, another route
I'm gonna be a singer, the whole world will know me
At least, I hope so, hope I can be.
