Boredom
this must be
the worst thing I know

worse than disappointed parents
worse than stood up dates

I'm stuck no matter
where I go
stuck in this state
this state of boredom
when time does not exist
and all motion ceases to be

I am motionless
as is my brain, motionless
my sight has been impaired
as this boredom tortures me

I am away
not here, but idle
somewhere
somewhere else
boredom has taken me
