Storm's Symphony

by Kisa   Apr 7, 2005

It started with drums,
Dark and rumbling,
Waiting to release their noise,
Ready to burst,
Crashes and Booms!

Then came the pre-show jitters
The feeling of moister,
Anticipation,
Excitment,
Blowing through the crowd!

Everything builds,
Things to be tuned,
Whispers through the leaves,
Chirping of birds,
Fluttering Butterflies,
When,
FLASH!

The conductor enters
Lighting the audience,
Setting the stage,
All grows silent,
Intake of breath.

A low growing,
Rumbling
Louder and louder.
FLASH
BOOM!
Crash!
And finally,
The symphony pours down.

Relief floods over us,
But, breath still held
Music floods,
Us.
Our minds,
Bones,
Skin,
Eyes,
Mouths,
Ears,
Soul.

Growing louder and louder,
Faster and faster,
FLASH,
BOOM,
CRASH!
Silence.

Its ended with,
Applause,
Chirps and whistles,
Laughter.
Exhale.
Clouds clear away,
Revealing and empty stage.

Yea this is crap but w/e...
