Your voice was muffled
By the silence
You couldn't hear a pin drop
From the lack of noise
It was unbearable

And as I fell to the floor
I watched you walk away
Upside down
You were wearing a smile

As you strive to be
Someone I'd rather not know
I'll find myself again

Who says silence isn't loud?
