Two sides to one story

by Content   Apr 7, 2005

He smiles and his eyes light up,
He stands without a sound.
He moves towards her, this is his chance,
Without a whisper, with a look she is bound.

He’s smiling at me and his eyes are lit up,
He stands without a sound.
He is moving towards me, I want to escape,
But his expression changes and I am bound.

She does not mind that I do this
She does not say a word until I move away,
I do not hurt her, I do not bruise her,
The memory will leave, it will not stay.

I hate it when he does this
My voice is lost until he moves away,
He hurts me, he bruises my heart,
The memory will not leave, it will always stay.
