It's true i do

I decided to write this poem,
To tell you how much I care,
How every time I see you,
I can’t help but stop and stare.

Your smile melts my heart,
And your laugh makes my heart sing,
And to feel your warmth against me,
Is what gives me my wings.

I just want to make sure you know,
That I really do love you,
And that even in the years to come,
I’ll still always be true.

So at night,
When you’re afraid,
And you need to cuddle me,
Just turn around,
And wake me up,
And then you’ll surely see.

I’ll never not need you,
And I’ll never not want you,
And I’ll never be anything without you.

Just remember when we’re not together,
I’m thinking of you,
Day and night,
Remembering your tempting smile,
So warm and calm and bright.
