What I'd Do.

by Alex Borrell   Apr 8, 2005

The Seas has put the Sun out,
And the moon is just rising.
We're lying on the beach,
And passer's they're staring.

But they don't understand
our little jokes darling.
No they don't understand
What we mean.

I'll walk you home
Just as long as you smile at me,
When you say Goodbye
Hug and Kiss me politely.

Then I'll be yours
And I'll walk for miles with you.
I'd buy you flowers
If you told me you want me to.

Whisper in my ear
Because I find it so charming
I wont get into bed
If I think that you're sleeping.

Because I know I'm in your head
From the dreams that you're dreaming.
And you sound so peaceful
When your silently breathing.

I'll write this on your arm
Or in a series of letters.
Frame it on your wall
To keep the next lover jealous.

Please check me so carefully
And read me four times through
And spare a thought for me
It's what I'd do. I'll never have you.
