She had a bad day, She let her slits drip, She hasn't told him, He's in for a trip. He figured it out, He cried all that night, He told her to stop, She was in for the fight. He yelled for hours, She cried all again, But he didn't know, She was doing it right then. She concealed her wounds, She went to his home, Even though he was there, She felt all alone. He had no idea, Of "what" and "how", She had done it for years, She couldn't stop now. They sat in silence, For minutes to think, Till he broke the ice and said, "Want a drink?" She nodded yes, And cried when he left, She knew she was wrong, She knew he knew best. He brought her a cola, He saw her wet face. He walked to her side, He took steady pace. She finally let go, And held up her wrists. He was very surprised, For her scars and her slits And now years have passed, In her lacy, white dress. He gives her the ring, Her tears make a mess. Though she's now happy, With lace in her hair, She still has the scars, From her worst nightmare.
