God's garden

by .:BAByGRL:.   Apr 8, 2005

God looked around his garden and found n empty place
he then looked down upon earth and saw your tired face

he put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
god's garden must be beautiful; he only takes the best

he knew you were suffering: he knew you were in pain
he also knew in heaven you will never hurt again

he saw the road was getting rough and the hill harder to climb
so he closed your weary eyes and whispered "peace be thine"

it broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone
for part of us went with you the day god called you home.

~i didn't write this.i really don't know who wrote this. this is written on my grandmother's tomb stone and i liked it so i thought i'd write it on here for you guys to see it.~
