Two sides of one world

A road that ends in a rainbow,
money falling from the sky-
a girl looking out the window,
watching as the day dies.
Flowers drowning in blood-
a face painted in a mirror,
the queen of hearts card broken in half, while a million people laugh.
A purple butterfly with half a wing,
the same girl now sadly sings-
while a woman writes a letter with her tears.

A road that ends in a abyss,
burning money falling from the sky-
the day looking through a window,
at a girl who wishes to die.
Flowers watered with blood,
a face smashed into a mirror,
the queen laughs at a million people with half broken hearts.
The same girl with half a wing,
purple butterflies sadly sing-
while a woman writes a letter with her tears....
to a generation of the lost.
