You don’t wanna see
You’d prefer to be blind
You don’t wanna search
You’re too scared to find

You don’t wanna hear
You drown out the screams
You don’t wanna realize
You forget all your dreams

You don’t wanna feel
You’d rather be numb
You don’t wanna leave
So you won’t have to come

You don’t wanna lose
You’ve won for so long
You don’t wanna risk it
You refuse to be wrong

You don’t wanna bother
Cuz you may have to care
You don’t wanna cry
Cuz pain you won’t bear

You wanna be ignorant
You wanna be stubborn
Cuz being the way you are
You won’t have a concern
