Wasn't ready

This girl wasn't ready
To be hurled into this pain
Living a life so intense
With nothing to gain
She didn't think
There was this dark of a place
She didn't think she could feel
Such a great amount of disgrace
She never thought she could cry
All these rivers of tears
Another stream branches off
For each one of her fears
Never thought she could lie
To the ones closest to her heart
But she can't tell them the truth

She didn't know she would fear
Didn't think she'd be scared
Didn't know she'd get hurt
By the one person that cared
But it doesn't matter now
She cries all by herself
She needs to be saved
But she's too lost to be helped
