Teachers

by katie!   Apr 8, 2005

I saw her today staring at my hand, I tried to pull away
But from the look on her face when she saw me at break
Well the words she didn't even have to say
From her words my freedom she takes

As they stare at me walking across the canteen
I'm praying that she did not spot my hand
As she talks and the other teacher stares as well
Why is that teachers never understand

Fear floods through me, terror grips me
As different thoughts pour through my mind
Panic overwhelming my better judgement
As I realize with apprehension, my cuts they will find

A label will be put upon me from now on
A label that I do not want to wear
The self harmer in year nine my new name
But I do not want these cuts to be there
