Love Hides

by Ashley   Apr 8, 2005

In a baby’s laugh
In a lover’s eyes
In a mother’s cries
There, love lies.

It’s everywhere we go
Always is it embracing us.
It’s the astonishing feeling one gets
As their lover amorously whispers,
“You’re forevermore mine
Till the end of time.”

It’s in the pride that one feels
When he sees America’s flag,
Gracefully gliding in the wind
Pompously displaying the exuberant red white and blue.

No one can escape true love’s calling.
Whether it be passion or admiration for something grand,
Take the time
And absorb it all.
For one day,
All will be gone.
