Have you ever wondered
What they would say
If you took your own life
Away?

Would they be sad,
And forever mourn your passing?
Or would they be happy
And wonder what took so long?

Or maybe a few of them
Would understand your reasoning
And allow you to pass
With no more than a few fallen tears.

I know what I would say
If you took your own life
Away.
I would miss you,
Of course,
But also, I would understand
Why you wanted out
And that you’re free now,
Just like you’ve always
Wanted to be.

But what would you say,
If I were to leave
My life far behind me?

All I ask,
