Re-binding Families

by Jenny Sys   Apr 8, 2005

A sigh of relief,
Overcomes my mind,
With missing my family,
And soon I'll find,
That with each day,
They become more kind,
Allowing me back,
And again we'll bind.

We grew apart,
Over oh so long,
But my bond with them,
It was way too strong,
We were conflicting,
We were all wrong,
So now I sit and listen,
To our favourite song.

No tears of pain,
running down my face,
I took some photo's,
Just incase,
The tie we have again
Becomes unlaced,
The obsticles are gone,
And we'll win the race.

Each time I see them,
It will be the best,
And talking about,
All the rest...
Of the things god will put,
To put us to the test,
I will no longer be a foe,
But I'll become a guest.
